Fast infrastructure

Northern Denmark, the North Jutland Region, benefits from an effective infrastructure, with Denmark’s third largest airport, various ferry connections, three highways, a railway network, and many expressways and major roads.

Aalborg Airport has at least 20 daily departures divided among three airlines for the Aalborg-Copenhagen route alone. The route is Denmark’s most popular domestic route, with more passengers than all other domestic routes put together. In addition, you can fly to a number of foreign destinations in Europe from Aalborg.

The total number of highway kilometres in the region make the highways there Denmark’s longest in relation to the number of inhabitants. Here, there are rarely traffic jams, meaning that meetings and freight transport can be planned flexibly and take place quickly.

There are various ferry connections and express routes in nearly all of the region’s major ports and these use large, modern ferries. Today, Sweden is only 2 hours away, and Norway is just 3½ hours from northern Denmark.

Mass transportation via train or bus is also well established in the region.

“North Jutland should be a good place to work, live and vacation. With good and growing frameworks for both the business world and for citizens. Such is the philosophy in the region’s political centre, North Jutland Region.
